State of the Nation 2021: Kinship 2021
Kinship’s State of the Nation Survey is an annual survey that explores what life is like for kinship carers in England and Wales. It enables the charity and wider sector to identify and respond to emerging issues, and to track issues over time.

Carers’ experiences of hospital discharge
New research from national charity Carers UK shows the NHS Discharge to Assess model, which sees patients’ ongoing care needs assessed only after they have left hospital, is failing to include family carers in the discharge process and putting patients’ health at risk.
Improving Access in Mental Health South Tees
Healthwatch South Tees (HWST) needs your help to engage communities across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland. All responses will contribute to the development of Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) mental health Community Transformation programme and inform the approach of the local Mental Health Alliance.
Carers are identified as one of the priority groups.
