Carers Together have shared their upcoming activities and events taking place in March and April for South Tees Carers and the people they care for. There is a wide range of activities available with a mix of online sessions and face to face activities.

What is available?
Carers Virtual Coffee Morning Every Tuesday 11:00am - 12:00pm
Online coffee mornings are held on Zoom every week and are an opportunity to relax and talk to other Carers in an informal setting. In March and April, the team have organised some special coffee mornings with guest speakers, including:
Penny Frantzescou from Unforgettable Experiences 8 March
Penny will be joining to talk about Unforgettable Experience's online therapeutic artistic sessions proven to increase memory, concentration and focus, and improve mental health
Lyndsey Hoare from James Cook Holistic Centre 29 March
Lyndsey will be sharing all about the services available at the Trinity Holistic Centre. She will also be joined by Steve Wilson, a peer supporter, to talk about a new group being set up for male cancer patients
Jade Lavan from Dementia UK 12 April
Jade will be joining to talk about her new role working as an Admiral Nurse for Dementia UK based in GP practices around Eston and Normanby.
Easter Quiz 19 April
Crack out the Easter Eggs early and join in with another fun Carers Together Quiz.

Cost of Living for Carers - marketplace event 24 March at 10.30am-12.30pm
The Trinity Centre, Market Place, North Ormesby, TS3 6LD
The rising cost of living is a huge concern to many Carers. Organisations such as Groundwork, CAB and Middlesbrough Environment City will be in attendance so that carers can access information about local initiatives that might help them.
Lunch will be provided.

Carers Pub Lunch Wednesday 16 March and 20 April 12.30pm, Stayplton Arms, 80 High Street, Eston, TS6 9DY
A return to the monthly pub lunch, join other Carers for a social bite to eat.
Stewart Park stroll and coffee Thursday 31 March 10am-12noon, Stewart Park, Ladgate Lane, TS7 8AR
Meet at the animal enclosure entrance next to the car park for a relaxed 1.5-mile stroll around Stewarts Park. This walk is wheelchair accessible, and toilets are available. The car park is free. Join the team after for a coffee at Cook’s Café to meet new people or chat with old friends.
Guisborough Priory Potter 28 April at 10.30am Guisborough Priory, Church St, Guisborough TS14 6HG
Join Carers Together for a potter around Guisborough Priory and the Woodland Gardens to see the spring flowers. Pay and display parking is available in Guisborough town centre. Please note, there is limited accessibility into the priory for wheelchair users.
