Healthwatch South Tees (HWST) needs your help to engage communities across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland. All responses will contribute to the development of Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) mental health Community Transformation programme and inform the approach of the local Mental Health Alliance.
Carers are identified as one of the priority groups.

RCBCs Short Breaks for Disabled Children Framework
Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council's Short Breaks for Disabled Children Framework has recently re-opened for new bids (see attached poster). Providers who have experience in supporting and caring for children and young people with disabilities or additional needs are encouraged to apply to join. To apply to join the Framework you would need to register on NEPO and submit a bid, all registered providers must have an overall rating of Good or above at the time of submission.

Mind The Gap aims to support Integrated Care Systems to deliver on the Long-Term Plan Commitment to improve the identification and support of carers from vulnerable communities that are less likely to use and/or have positive experiences of services.

"An exciting opportunity has arisen for external organisations to be part of our Health and Wellbeing Hub based at Woodside, Middlesbrough. We will be particularly interested in hearing from services that can be provided for older adults that may address a range of needs including; social and occupational engagement, physical health promotion, emotional and psychological wellbeing including loneliness and living well with a range of physical and mental health conditions including Dementia.
Virtual Event Invite- Exploitation of Children & Young People in Cleveland
South Tees Safeguarding Children Partnership is holding a virtual event in order to share the Cleveland Police Report entitled ‘The Exploitation of Children in Cleveland’ with our practitioners who work under the safeguarding agenda. The event will be co-hosted by Detective Chief Inspector Shaun Page, chair of the Tees Strategic VEMT Group and Sarah Pritchard from Barnardo’s.
