ADASS Carers Network – Local Survey of Carers 2021 An analysis of responses made by carers.
Following the interim report published by Liz Greer (September 2019) where it was identified that the overall carer's quality of life score across the region had decreased and, as part of a national sector-led improvement programme, the North East ADASS Carers network agreed to carry out a region-wide, informal, diverse local carers survey between April and May 2021 to support improvements to service provision. The pandemic limited the potential to get out and about in the communities to raise awareness and changed the original approach for undertaking a local survey. The carers network agreed to target a wider range of carers and questions were varied to obtain diverse feedback recognising the limitations of the ASCOF national carers survey.
