Kooth is a digital mental health and well-being company working to provide a welcoming space for digital mental health care, available to all.

Towards the end of last year, Kooth launched a Parents and Carers Resource Pack, which has been created to support all parents and carers when helping young people deal with their mental health and emotional well-being.

The resource pack will help you better understand and be aware of the warning signs of mental illness in young people as well as signposting you to organisations that can provide support. Locally you may wish to connect to Middlesbrough and Stockon Mind or Redcar and Cleveland Mind.

You will also find practical tips on how best to support your child’s mental and emotional health and advice for starting a conversation with a young person about their mental health. The information also explains the service Kooth offer and how to access and use it.

Download Kooth's Parent and Carer Guide.

Our Service is available to support Young People aged 11-18 across Tees Valley.
