Carers Week is fast approaching, for the last two years the campaigns have been largely virtual due to social distancing rules which have since been relaxed, we are really excited to share with you the range of activities and events local organisations are leading on to make caring visible valued and supported.
There are a range of activities running across the week from Monday 6 June including Coffee Mornings, Well-Being Walks, Young Carers Social Sessions, Aapna Day Care Awareness Session, Musical Train and much more.
Throughout the week there will be a Carers Information Stand in the Cleveland Centre (Middlesbrough) 9-5pm. Local organisations will be manning the stand throughout the week to connect to people looking after loved ones, drop by and find out more about the range of services available to support you.
Carers in Redcar & Cleveland are invited to drop-in to Footprints in the Community between 10-2pm on Friday 10 June. The following organisations will be available to speak to for information, advice and support:
- Carers Together
- The Junction Foundation
- Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind
- Redcar & Cleveland Mind
- We Care You Care
