Championing kinship care: national kinship care strategy

The Government are committed to transforming outcomes for vulnerable children and championing kinship families so that more children can thrive. This is part of the wider children’s social care reform.

The document explains how they will:

  • make sure children in kinship care have good outcomes
  • give more help and support to kinship carers
  • listen to what kinship families need and want
