As you will all be hopefully well aware, last week (7-13 June 2021) was Carers Week. Carers Week is a national campaign dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness of unpaid care.
We had a fantastic week sharing some local carers stories with you with the aim of making caring visible and local organisations delivered a great range of free events for local carers to make them feel valued.
On behalf of all of the organisations behind We Care You Care we would like to say a big THANK YOU! We know looking after a loved one can be extremely challenging and this last year has made it much more difficult with the offer of outside support and help largely having been removed.
Collectivley we will continue to dedicate our time to making caring visible across the South Tees area to raise awareness and ensure all local carers have information and signposting to support if and when it is needed.
