This #VolunteerWeek (1 - 7 June) Middlesbrough Volunteer Centre (MVDA), CVL and Thirteen are teaming up to deliver a 'Volunteer Thankyou Well-Being' session for some lucky local volunteers.

What is Volunteer Week?

Volunteers’ Week is a time to say thanks for the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering. The yearly campaign is led by NCVO.

What is the Volunteer Thankyou Well-Being session and who is it for?

Do you know a volunteer that has worked hard during the pandemic? Would you like to give them a treat to say #ThanksaBunch?

Perhaps a volunteer within a local group/ organisation/ service has particularly supported you during the pandemic to make things that bit easier for you to maintain your caring role.

You can nominate them and give them a chance to win a place at the well-being session where they will make and take home their own bath treats and learn techniques to give and receive a hand massage with aromatherapy oils. Nominees must be available to attend a session on 1 June at CVL Thorntree. There are also some pamper packs available for chosen nominees. So, what are you waiting for? Get nominating!

How do I nominate a deserving volunteer?

To nominate a volunteer, contact Middlesbrough Volunteer Centre (MVDA) on Facebook or email the Volunteer Centre Coordinator, Suganya: suganya@mvdauk.org.uk explaining why the volunteer deserves to be pampered.

Get your nominations in by the 24th of May, the winners will be picked on the 25th of May. The lucky volunteers will be invited to Community Ventures on Tuesday 1 June.
