Kinship has been delivering their Sport England funded Kinship Active programme across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland since 2018. They have supported over 300 kinship carers and children in their care to become more active together and gain access to vital information, advice and support.
Unfortunately, Kinship Active will come to an end on 31 March 2022. However, kinship carers locally will still have access to a network of peer support and the Kinship Advice Service.
The Kinship Advice Service provides free, friendly, professional, non-judgemental and caring support. You can contact the service by completing their online form or sending an email to advice@kinship.org.uk. If you have not had a response from the team within 5 working days check your junk/spam folder
Their advice service is currently open Monday to Friday from 9.30am-2.00pm.
