Carers Together and SEND Family Voice, Redcar & Cleveland have secured funding from NHS Tees Valley CCG for Parent Carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The funding is available for families who would like to access equipment or activities.
One-off grants are offered to families in Redcar and Cleveland, where the child or young person has either an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) or is in receipt of a Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment. The grants will be awarded in the form of a voucher of up to £100 per household.
