Rapid community testing for symptom-free people

Around one-third of people with Covid-19 do not have symptoms and can pass the virus on to loved ones without knowing it.

You can access free rapid community testing if you are not showing any symptoms of Covid-19. The tests are quick and easy and results are generally available in around 30 minutes

Community tests are recommended for:

  • People who are unable to work from home, come into contact with the public and have no access to other rapid testing – for example taxi drivers, tradespeople, carers, social workers, nursery staff, etc.
  • Close contacts of people who are clinically extremely vulnerable (CEV) to COVID-19.

Only people without Covid-19 symptoms should attend.
