As of April 2021, the Children's Autism Pathway has been replaced by the Neurodevelopmental Pathway. The new pathway is for children and young people aged 5-18 years old across South Tees and covers autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The pathway aims to provide needs led support for both the child and family before, during and after diagnosis.
The Tees Valley Clinical Commissioning Group is leading on this work and Healthwatch South Tees have supported this by engaging with parents and carers to find out their views.
Healthwatch South Tees have produced a report which looks at the collective voice of local parents which will be used to shape and influence the new pathway.
Download the full report (below) or contact Healthwatch South Tees if you need these documents in a different format.
