Carers Rights Day is a national awareness-raising day created by Carers UK with the aim to:
- ensure carers are aware of their rights
- let carers know where to get help and support
- raise awareness of the needs of carers.
This year, just like last, we want to reach as many local carers across the South Tees area as possible. The We Care You Care website aims to cover the above campaign points on a daily basis. We value all unpaid carers; we provide information and advice on carers rights throughout the site and host a signposting element to encourage carers to connect to the fantastic local offer of support and are encouraging local carers to share their experiences and develop a South Tees Carers Voice. Behind the scenes, we are working hard to raise awareness of unpaid care with professionals across a wide range of services and are proud to be the coordinated brand of the South Tees Carers Forum.
Our Carers Rights page has information and signposting to help you to understand and implement your rights.
