24 August 2021

Healthwatch South Tees (HWST) are seeking to understand how mental health services are being used by local people. All responses will contribute to the development of Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) mental health Community Transformation programme and will inform the approach of the local Mental Health Alliance.

Healthwatch South Tees would like to know what keeps you well and how you would like to access mental health services in South Tees. It is important they know what this looks like and how it feels for you. Your views will also establish a baseline of what local people’s knowledge of current services are and your expectations of mental health services. Share your feedback on your experiences of what currently doesn’t work as well as your suggestions on what new approaches need to be considered.

The team are hoping to gather as many responses as possible through their online survey and are particularly interested in hearing from local carers, ethnic minorities and older people.

Anyone who takes part in this will go into a draw to receive either a £50 Amazon or £50 Love2shop voucher.

Healthwatch is the independent champion for people who use health and care services. They find out what people like about services, and what could be improved, and share these views with those with the authority to make change happen.

The more responses HWST get, the more they can inform how mental health and well-being support is delivered and improved for local people.

Complete the survey.

The survey closes on Sunday 13 September.
