Carers Week 2022

What is Carers Week?

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don't think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

How are we coming together to Make Caring Visible, Valued and Supported?

We Care You Care is delivered by MVDA and is supported by local carers organisations, the South Tees Carers Forum and both Local Authorities. This year we have worked closely with the key local organisations to bring a jam-packed week of activities, events and information sessions for carers across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland.
