With the rise in technology there has been a rise in the sophistication of fraudulent activity and scams, that is not to say that the only methods used are through digital means it has created more opportunities to exploit people. There are things we can do to keep ourselves safe online. Age UK Teesside have teamed up with Safer Communities and the North East Regional Organised Crime Unit Network to deliver fraud prevention drop-in sessions.
